Day Trip - Selous Game Reserve

You will start your safari from your hotel in Zanzibar at 5am and drive to domestic terminal at Zanzibar airport then catch the flight around 07h35 therefore you will arrive in Mtemere Airstrip at 08h20; you will be met by the driver-guide, who will brief you regarding your game drive in Selous.

You will depart for a game drive in a 4x4 modified safari vehicle exploring the game in the surrounding areas, from your seat, a comfortable and privileged journey through the wild African bush. You may expect to see any significant African magnificent favourites mammals, including Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Buffaloes, Zebras and even the rare African Wild Dog.

Picnic lunch in the noontime where your guide will select a place with a clear view all around so that no predator can creep up hidden. Later on, in the afternoon, you will return to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar at 16h15.
